Pipe Majors Complete Richard Parkes Masterclass

Recently, the first class of current and aspiring Pipe Majors successfully completed the Ulster-Scots Agency’s Richard Parkes MBE Pipe Major Masterclass.
At the end of two days expert tuition, each participant received a certificate from Richard Parkes, the world’s most successful Pipe Major.
Over two successive Saturdays, Richard Parkes shared some of the expertise that has made him household name, including band practice strategies, band intonation, reed selection and manipulation, musical approach, improving technique, maintenance and people management.
